On Earth Day today the Sustainable Energy & Environment Coalition (SEEC) posted an article "For Earth Day, look beyond solar panels and diets to combat climate change (Vox)". Addressing the question, "How much do your actions as an individual matter when it comes to climate?", the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change notes that individual behavioral changes are "insufficient"... unless embedded in structural and cultural change." Yes, there are actions individuals can do at work and in the community to push more structural change. For curious, concerned citizens, spreading the message about how IPHROS will provide clean water and stored energy and skilled jobs is an action to drive structural change. It's time we put the world first.
